Abstract Submision
The organizers of the 2nd International Conference on Novel Photorefineries for Resource recovery – 2nd PHOTOREFINERIES CONFERENCE welcome the online abstract submissions through the electronic submission page on the web site.
Portal for registration and abstract submission is opening on 1st December 2025
Abstracts should be written in English language, prepared according to the Abstract Template given bellow and of length of maximum one A4 page. All abstracts should represent original scientific work. The abstract should make reference to the most relevant backgrounds, significant results and contribution conclusions. Taking into account that the works selection will be made based on this abstract, it’s expected that it is informative and short, without being descriptive. Some contributions with renowned merit will be selected an suggested for oral or flash presentation. Submitted abstracts will be carefully reviewed and the notification of abstract acceptance will be sent to authors via e-mail until 15th of May 2026. Once you have sent your abstract, it won't be possible to change it. For abstract submission please fill out the Abstract Template and upload it in the registration form. The file with the Abstract Template should be named with the surname and first name initial of the corresponding author (for example: Surname_Firstname Initial_Abstract). If you are submitting 2 abstracts, please be so kind to merge these 2 abstracts as one document containing First and then Second Abstract and submit it as such.

Templates are created in a way that you don`t have to make any changes in terms of formatting the document, just replace the text with your own and delete the instructions.

Abstract

The abstract should make reference to the most relevant backgrounds, significant results and contribution conclusions. It should not exceed one A4 page in the given format and preferably should be written without any references. In a A4 sheet use a margin of 3 cm on the top, while 2.5 cm-s should be used on the right, left and bottom. Formulas should be centralized and numbered on the right.

Poster Instruction
If you are preparing a poster presentation, you should follow the listed below:
- Poster size must be B1 (70cm x 100cm) portrait oriented,
- All text should not be smaller than 20pt,
- Text in plots and figures should also be at least 20pt,
- Poster should include the following sections: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussions-Conclusion,
- Use section headings to orient the viewer,
- Poster should be prepared in English,
- Poster should contain the conference name, dates and conference location.
Oral and Flash Presentations
- Oral communications should be presented in time 12 min + 3 minutes for discussion.
- Flesh presentation should be presented in time of 5 min + 2 minutes discussion.
The presentation that follows the speakers talk is suggested to be prepared in Power Point or Prezi. They can contain video material too. The speakers are kindly asked to deliver their presentation on the email
